    This unique wall hanging features a handwoven map of Palestine, intricately crafted and embroidered in black. Surrounding the map, the word "Maalesh" (It's okay) is written in bold red, felted with wool, creating a striking contrast that echoes its powerful message.

The piece is a heartfelt homage to Palestinian journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh, who uttered "Maalesh" in the face of unimaginable loss—the targeting of his wife and children. Once seen as a phrase of weakness, "Maalesh" has become a symbol of unyielding strength and resilience in the face of adversity.

This wall hanging tells a poignant story of the ongoing tragedy in Palestine, where hospitals, schools, bakeries, and shelters are being destroyed, and innocent civilians—children, women, men, and the elderly—are caught in the crossfire. It reflects the sorrow of a world that has failed to take meaningful action to end the suffering, despite the voices raised against this injustice.
