My work focuses on creating wall art that brings warmth and artistic character to any space. Inspired by the beauty of nature and my boundless imagination, I specialize in crafting intricate 3D wall tapestries.

Each piece is carefully designed with threads that perfectly suit its artistic story, using various types of looms—including handmade looms crafted exclusively for unique projects.

After completing each woven piece, I take it to the Mediterranean Sea, for it is my true source of inspiration. Even if the design isn't directly about the sea, the endless horizon of the Mediterranean profoundly influences my creative process.

My journey with weaving began in childhood, when I learned the basics on a cardboard loom at school. Growing up in a creative household, I worked with my mother on sewing, embroidery, fabric dolls, and crochet projects.

This nurturing environment, alongside artistic magazines like Burda, deeply inspired my love for textiles.

Although my studies at the College of Agriculture did not formally include this specific artistic discipline, I always enjoyed sketching botanical subjects during my coursework. This likely influenced the aesthetic direction of my current work.
I began sharing my creations on social media under the name "Meskelgna", in 2012 , focusing primarily on crochet pieces.

I launched my Etsy shop, Amira Weaving Shop, in 2020, where my work was deeply appreciated, with many of my designs finding homes in the United States and Europe.

Since then, I’ve built heartfelt connections with those who felt drawn to my pieces and chose to welcome them into their lives. Whether it’s through custom requests or sharing their ideas with me, our collaboration has been an inspiring journey.
